The XG Protector Series liquid-cooled standby generator provides backup power to entire homes or businesses during a power outage. A Protector Series generator senses a power outage, turns on automatically, and delivers power to all large appliances and sensitive electronics. The XG048 operates at the lowest sound levels in the 48-50 kW market during exercise and while providing backup power. This allows comfortable living and keeps business operating without interruption.

With the addition of ecobee by Generac Smart Thermostat, it integrates seamlessly with Generac Home Standby generators to provide in-home energy monitoring and enhanced backup capabilities.
